Dr. Irene K. Blaess, D.D.S.
Dr. Blaess grew up in Houston since the age of eight, graduating from Sharpstown High School. Upon graduation, she attended the University of Texas in Austin, receiving her de ntal degree in 1997 from the University of Texas Health Science Center. In 2003 she partnered with Dr. Stan Zebrowski to open Northwoods Dental Spa, the first dental spa in San Antonio. With constant improvements in equipment, materials, and techniques, Dr. Blaess believes it is vitally important to commit time to keep learning. Dr. Blaess attends many hours of contiuing education courses every year, far beyond the necessary amount required to maintain licensure. She supports organized dentistry and the way organizations promote the health of our citizens. She is a member if San Antonio Distict Dental Society, Texas Dental Society, American Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry. On a personal note Dr. Blaess is a mom of a great five year old boy- Michael. Michael wants to grow up and join our team in about 20 years.
 Dr. Stan O. Zebrowski, D.D.S.
Dr. Zebrowski was born and raised in Kharkov, Ukraine, and started his dental education at the Kharkov State University, School of Dentistry. Upon relocating to United States, Dr. Zebrowski enrolled in University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, graduating with high honors. He received extensive training in crown and bridge, root canal therapy, extractions and implant restoration. Dr. Zebrowski has been practicing with Dr. Blaess since 2003. He is strongly committed to ongoing professional education. Dr. Zebrowski has achieved certification for Invisalign ("invisible" braces) and has also been trained in the use of soft tissue lasers. He is continually updating his education on different aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry. During his free time, Dr. Zebrowski enjoys sports, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. Dr. Zebrowski is an active member of the American Dental Association, San Antonio District DentalSociety, and Texas Dental Association.
 Lilia Valles, RDH.- Dental Hygenist.
Lilia is our plaque finder that comes all the way from El Paso to help you maintain your oral health. She is loads of fun and is great with kids as well as adults. She takes her time with each patient to make sure they receive the highest quality of care. After thoroughly examining your mouth, this RDH will fully explain all the tools you need to maintain your oral health in between each visit.

Warm, friendly and relaxed - that describes the first person you see when you walk into Northwoods Dental Spa. The associate behind the front desk is Cyndee Castillo. She is very genuine and sincere when she smiles warmly and greets you with Texas hospitality in her voice.
Cyndee is experienced in making sure that your appointment is scheduled around your time preferences and needs. With her sense of humor she will have you laughing and forget that you are at the dental office.
Adela Garcia., Financial Coordinator.
Dela is originally from the Valley and is a great addition to our office. Dela has been in the dental field for many years. She handles all the insurance questions and all of the treatment arrangements. Dela is very understanding and caring. She will go over all the payment options , so you can get all your treatment done in a timely manner.
Virginia ( "Vicky") Torres Head Assistant.
Happy, efficient,dependable, and knowledgeable person with a " Latin Flair". Vicky is responsible for the clinical area. She is always making sure all the patients are comfortable, and the office is up to date with Infection control and OSHA. Her goal is to succeed as a person while helping others.
Vicky Relocated from Chicago in the summer of 2007, and has two beautiful and adorable daughters and a wonderful husband. Vany is her older daughter, she is 13 yrs. old and Anya is 5 . Vicky enjoys going out with her family to new and exciting places. They also love watching baseball, eating pizza, and still cheer for the Chicago Cubs!
Kimberly Shafer , Medical Esthetician.
This sweet red-head is a transplant from up north. Kim is a licensed aesthetician. With her great personality and calm voice she can evaluate your skin and put you on the right regiment for your skin type. She also offers waxing, chemical peels, facials and other relaxing procedures. Along with our Glo Minerals cosmetics, she can touch- up your face after dental procedures so you are ready for the rest of your day.
