Our Dental Team
Dr. Zebrowski was born and raised in Kharkov, Ukraine, and started his dental education at the Kharkov State University, School of Dentistry. Upon relocating to United States, Dr. Zebrowski enrolled in University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, graduating with high honors. He received extensive training in crown and bridge, root canal therapy, extractions and implant placement, and restoration. Dr. Zebrowski has been practicing with Dr. Blaess since 2003. He is strongly committed to ongoing professional education. Dr. Zebrowski has achieved certification for Invisalign (“invisible” braces) and has also been trained in the use of soft tissue lasers. He is continually updating his education on different aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry. During his free time, Dr. Zebrowski enjoys sports, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. Dr. Zebrowski is an active member of the American Dental Association, San Antonio District Dental Society, and Texas Dental Association.
Irene K. Blaess, D.D.S.
Dr. Blaess grew up in Houston since the age of eight, graduating from Sharpstown High School. Upon graduation, she attended the University of Texas in Austin, receiving her dental degree in 1997 from the University of Texas Health Science Center. In 2003 she partnered with Dr. Stan Zebrowski to open Northwoods Dental Spa, the first dental spa in San Antonio. With constant improvements in equipment, materials, and techniques, Dr. Blaess believes it is vitally important to commit time to keep learning. Dr. Blaess attends many hours of contiuing education courses every year, far beyond the necessary amount required to maintain licensure. She supports organized dentistry and the way organizations promote the health of our citizens. She is a member if San Antonio Distict Dental Society, Texas Dental Society, American Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Rachel Lowery, D.D.S.
Dr. Rachel Lowery grew up in North Carolina but now considers Texas to be her home. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2006. She then moved to Texas and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery while graduating with High Honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She supports organized dentistry and is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, San Antonio District Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and Christian Medical and Dental Association. Dr. Lowery’s interest in dentistry began as a teenager when braces transformed her smile and improved her self-esteem. Her passion is giving others a smile they want to show off as well. She provides gentle, caring dentistry and offers nitrous oxide and oral sedation. In their free time, Dr. Lowery and her husband enjoy traveling, playing tennis, being outdoors, cooking, watching sports, and spending time with their new baby and three dogs.
Craig Long, D.D.S.
Dr. Long, grew up in Perry, Missouri. After receiving his BA from the University of Missouri Columbia in 1975,and his DDS degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City in 1979, he returned to Vandalia and purchased the practice of his family dentist Dr. Steve Whisler.
After practicing for more than 30 years Dr. Long sold his office in Missouri and moved to Texas. He started working with Dr.Zebrowski and Dr. Blaess in 2012
Dr. Long spent over 10 Years as a Certified Instructor for the Institute of Advanced Laser Dentistry. He teaches, lectures, and trains other dentists in Laser Dentistry and LANAP surgical protocol.
He is a member of American Dental Association,Academy of General Dentistry, American Orthodontic Society,International Orthodontic Society, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Institute of Advanced Laser Dentistry,and American Academy of Head and Neck Facial Pain
Dr. Craig Long has been recognized as top “100″ dentists in United States by Consumer Research Council.
He is a published author with articles in local, state, and international journals and numerous recognitions and awards.
Dr. Long has three children Chrissy, Brian and Megan, a lovely wife Tish, and three stepchildren, Madison, Davis and Riley.He enjoys classic Mustangs, flying, scuba, boating and fishing.
